An aliphatic resin of low molecular weight, characterized by high resistance to ageing and optical properties which are comparable to those of natural resins; ideally used as a bland consolidant for wood artifacts. A solution with low viscosity and high penetration can be obtained by dissolving in solvent amounts ranging from 10- 20% of resin by weight.
Regalrez 1126 is soluble in medium- and low-polarity solvents (white spirit, petroleum essential oil, butyl acetate); it is insoluble in water and polar solvents.
